Engagements
What does a commission cost?
Private narrative garments begin at $750. Wedding wardrobes begin at $1,250. Wedding legacy systems begin at $2,000. Legacy commissions begin at $1,500. Brand and cultural collaborations begin at $2,000. Most engagements fall between $750 and $2,000.
How long does the work take?
Garments typically take 8–12 weeks, wedding wardrobes 12–20 weeks, and larger systems 6–12 months. Rush timelines are accepted only when the schedule allows.
How is a project confirmed?
No project is confirmed until an agreement and initial payment are completed.
Making
Is everything made in-house?
No. Work is designed and creatively directed by Dr. Lucas, then produced with selected atelier and specialist partners under the house's quality standards.
How many fittings are required?
Most garments require two to three fittings. Remote clients receive measurement direction, a fit garment, and video review.
Do you offer alterations or remakes?
Alterations within the agreed scope are included through delivery. Remakes are quoted separately and depend on cause and timing.
Working together
Do you work outside Chicago?
Yes. The house works globally. Travel and accommodation for on-location fittings are quoted separately.
How is shipping handled internationally?
International delivery is insured and shipped from Chicago. Duties, taxes, and customs charges are the client's responsibility.
Can my commission stay private?
Yes. You may select public, anonymous, imagery approved with name withheld, or fully private. Nothing is published without recorded permission.
